NICE WEATHER = OUTSIDE FUN

Today was such a nice day that the girls were dying to go outside. So while Steven went to work and Winston was inside sleeping we went outside and played for a good two hours before Peyton started to get tired. Grandma and Grandpa Wilson also came over to say hi but the camera was put away so I didn't get any pics of them. I think mom had more fun then the girls :)

EASTER AND THE BROKEN ARM

Oh what a week we have had. Sunday as everyone knows was Easter. We had Kody and Ashli Jones over on Saturday and they eneded up spending over. We woke up on easter sunday and decided that we needed to get some breakfast before heading over to Grandma and Grandpa Wilson's house for Easter dinner. We packed everyone up and went to Jeremiah's for brunch, it was already One. We ate, said goodbye to the Jones, and headed to Plain City. The Easter bunny had brought Gracie a new Princess Scooter and Peyton a Dora trike so Renee took the kids inside while Steven put them together so the kids could ride them. Gracie was so excited that she was having a blast on them. Then Steven reminded Gracie that she still had her four wheeler that we had bought her for her birthday. So Gracie was game and headed to the back pasture for some four wheeling fun. Well the fun lasted about 2 minutes. Gracie was doing so good driving the four wheeler, when all of a sudden she flipped it going to fast around the corner. She started screaming " I BROKE MY ARM!" I totally didn't believe her until I saw her arm swinging the wrong way. UGH! My stomach dropped, I picked her up and threw her in the durango and off we headed to the Emergency room up at McKay Dee. They immediatley took us in, gave Gracie some morphine and off to the x-rays she went. Then the dr told us the worse news. Gracie needed emergency surgery on her elbow. So off to surgery Gracie went. She was in for about 2 hours and 5 pins later in her elbow. When she got out of surgery it was already 9pm. They told us that we were here for the night. So off to floor 5 and the long night of sleeping on the tiny couch. The nurses in the Pediatrics wing are awesome. They took care of Gracie so well, they even gave her a Easter Basket. They set Gracie's arm in a soft cast until the swelling can go down. She is going in tomorrow (fri) to get a cast. She hopes they have pink. Here are some before and after pics of Gracies arm.

BABY WINSTON TERRY CHENEY IS HERE!

So baby Winston finally decided to come out and play today. He was born on March 10th, 2009 at 3:28 pm. He weighed in at a whopping 10 lbs and was 21 inches long. I am so excited that he finally came out. Renee was having a hard time. She went to the dr last wednesday when she was 37 weeks and she had super high blood pressure. It was 150 over 130. The dr wasn't too thrilled on this. So he told Renee no more work, so she has since been on bed rest since. Then he made us come back up on friday to do the stress test and the baby had enough fluids around him that they just told us to come up on tuesday for Renee's normal dr's appointment. When they were doing the stress test they messured the baby in Renee's tummy and it said that the baby was 10 lbs and the dr wasn't trying to hear that. He was like no way are you carrying a 10lb baby. Also Renee was super dehydrated so they made her do a 24 hr pee catch. All I have to say is EWWWYYY!! The dr told us she had to keep the pee cold but it couldn't freeze so he suggested keeping it in the fridge. Um.. hell to the no is the pee going to go in the fridge, so we bought her a cooler and ice and on she went. The pee test ended up being a ok. Everything looked good when we went to the dr tuesday. He made her do another stress test and the baby was fine. So he was like, let me check you, but most likely I will see you next wednesday when you are 39 weeks and we will get you started then. He checked Renee and sure enough she was 70 % thinned and dialated to a 5, so he said lets have a baby! Steven was so excited! He was getting super pissed every time we went to the dr and they weren't trying to have this baby. He kept on saying just lie tell them your hurting, but Dr. Seale's not stupid. Not his first baby on the block.

Needless to say, we checked in at 9:30 am and Renee had her epidural around 11 and it was super smooth sailing after that. He came and broke the water and then it just sped after that. They checked her again around 2:30 and said she was ready just had to wait for Dr. Seale to finish up on another patient and he would get this one. Renee seriously pushed 4 times and out popped our 10 lb tanker!

Annual CHILL's Christmas Party

Saturday was the annual CHENEY/HILL christmas party. It was super fun and we had chicken and potato wedges for dinner and then Grandpa Gordon told us a story about Christmas. Then after that we opened all of the presents. It was super fun and the kids made out like bandits! Can't wait until next years party!
